Los Rusconi
Carlo Rusconi fué el primero Rusconi de nuestra familia
a emigrar de la provincia de Como en Italia para la Argentina. Trabajaba
como "Ingeniero Ferroviario" en la construcción de puentes,
participó de la construcción de los ramales ferroviários
del Noroeste argentino y se radicó en la provincia de Tucumán
con su esposa Carlota Bernasconi con quien tubo su único
hijo, Agustin Carlos.
Agustin salió de Tucumán junto con su madre después
de la muerte de Carlo, su padre. Se radican en la ciudad de Córdoba
donde se casará con Juliana Enriqueta Martinez (AKA Mecha, Mercedes).
Agustín trabajava como contador y en el comercio de maderas. De
su unión com Mecha nacen quatro hijos: Oscar, Carlos, Marcelo y
Rodolfo. Despúes de sufrir corepetidas pérdidas económicas
con inundaciones, se mudan para Buenos Aires (1920).
Oscar no tiene hijos, vive en Buenos Aires.
Carlos Alberto, mi padre, se casó con Isabel González,
en Buenos Aires y tubo dos hijos: Carlos Eduardo, yo, y Andrea Isabel.
Todos menos yo viven en Buenos Aires.
Marcelo nunca se casó vivió y falleció en Buenos
Aires.
Rodolfo se casó en Buenos Aires, con Francis Palau y tubo dos
hijos: Andrés y Paula y en los anõs 70 se radicó
en Tucumán de donde Francis era originaria. Los hijos viven actualmente
en Tucumán.
Finalmente yo, Carlos Edua En 1988 emigré para Brasil, donde me
casé con Roseli Machado. Actualmente tenemos una hija llamada Ana
Carolina.

RUSCA. [A very large article on this family, which can only be very briefly
summarized.]
Also RUSCONI, DE RUSCHIS, DE RUSCONIBUS spellings. An old noble family
stemming from
Como. The viscount of Milan were of this family, as were many important
officials
throughout northern Italy. They played an important role in Lombardi and
were also
important in Canton Tessin [Ticino]. The family is seen in the 12th century
land soon
was seen with the spelling variants of Rusca and Rusconi. One branch line
added the
v. Bellinzona-Giubiasco appelation. A line in Tremona adopted the Rusconi
spelling.
Several ruling families appeared in Ticino. The Lehensherren R. zu Bellinzona;
the Grafen R. von Lugano; the Herren R. von Locarno; all stemmed from
the Herren Rusca
von Como. The Bellinzona-Giubiasco branch formed the origin of the branches
at
Magliaso, Bironico-Camignolo, Luzern, and Giubiasco. The Lugano branch
gave rise to the
Bioggio branch. The Locarno branch to the Mendrisio and others.
The Rusca surname was seen in: Cademario, 1269; Arosio, 1347; Agno, 1451;
Bedano-Manno,
1367; Sonvico, 1454; Coldrerio, 1454; and so forth.
Members held important offices at: Breno, 1218; Cademario, 1269; Giubiasco,
ca 1300;
Castel San Pietro, 1274; Viganello-Pregassona and Umgebung, 1325; Sonvico,
1454;
Pedrinate, 1457, Taverne-Torricella, 1499.
The Wappen (family shield) is described and pictured, and portrayals survive
from 1288.
(I) RUSCA, Herren von Como, also in Tessin. RUGGERO is the founder of
this branch,
a Bürger of Como, holder of various positions, d. 1257. Seventeen
further members
through the early 1400s are profiled at moderate length each.
(II) R., Grafen von Lugano. Continuing on from section (I). Another seventeen
members
of the family are profiled at moderate length. There are two portraits
included. These
run through the early 1600s.
(1) Bioggio-Lugano-Mailand branch. These stem from BERNARDINO of (II).
Another eighteen members of the family are profiled, running through the
mid-1800s.
(2) Various R. of Lugano. Another sixteen miscellaneous members of the
family are
profiled, though at shorter lengths than those mentioned above.
(III) RUSCA, Herren von Lucarno. The family began ruling Lucarno in 1439,
and many
branches come from this line. An illegitimate son of this branch began
ruling over
Bellinzona. Some twelve members of this branch are profiled, some at considerable
length.
(1) Von Menrisio branch. This was founded by an illegimate son of PIETRO
ANTONIO of
(III). Some twenty-one members are profiled, though only at moderate length
each.
(2) Branches of the Rusca von Lucano line. Another nineteen members are
profiled,
including the Bellinzona branch.
(IV) R. von Bellinzona-Giubiasco [note that this is different from the
branch mentioned
just above (2)]. This branch developed into two lines: the R. from Ravazzini
line,
which died out in 1750, and the Gregorio line.
(1) R. from RAVAZZINO, from Como, d. before 1415. Five are profiled from
this line
through it's dying out in 1747.
(2) R. from GREGORIO, PIETRO of Como, seen in 1384, is the founder of
this line. Some
fourteen more are profiled through the mid-1700s.
(3) Rusconi del Palasio branch. CARLO BERNARDO, 1662-1729, is the father
of this branch.
Nine more members are profiled through 1877.
(4) Rusconi del Saleggio branch. CARLO FRANCESCO, 1633-1674, is the father
of this branch. Six more members are profiled through the early 20th century,
with one photograph.
(5) Rusca von Biroico-Camignolo. This was founded before 1400. Four members
are
profiled through the start of the 1500s.
(6) Rusca von Magliaso. Also founded before 1400, from Como. Six members
are profiled through 1528.
(7) Various Rusca. Three more miscellaneous members of this line are profiled.
(V) Various branches.
(1) Agno branch, stemming from Como, the founders were in Bedigliora in
1467 but had
settled in Agno by 1482. Fifteen members are profiled through the end
of the 1900s.
(2) Arioso branch. The first member is MARINUS BAZIUS, seen at Arioso
in 1347. Two
others are profiled through the end of the 1900s.
(3) Bedano-Manno branch, now extinct. The earliest member mentioned is
MICHELLE, seen
at Bedano in 1347. Some six further members are mentioned through the
end of the branch in 1712.
(4) Cureglia branch, now extinct, source not known. Only one member is
profiled, from the 1800s.
(5) Rancate branch, source not known. Six members are profiles through
the end of the 1800s.
(6) Taverne-Torricella branch. The founder was CRISTOFORO, of Bironico
and seen at Taverna by 1499. Some four more members are profiled through
the late 1700s with one portrait.
(7) Tremona branch. This was established in the 17th century from the
Como area.
Three members are profiled through the early 1900s. An extensive bibliography
is provided.
Luzern branch. The tie-in point (JOHANN ANTON Rusconi) is described
and some nine members are mentioned, but these are extremely brief descriptions,
generally just names and dates for some
positions.
